Prosperity isn't a program.
It's a practice.

My True Prosperity (MTP) is a social enterprise built on a simple conviction: that financial capability is not a one-time event but a lifelong practice, and that the practitioners who guide people through that practice deserve the best possible tools to do their work.

FinCap Assist is the expression of that conviction in software form. It exists to make every practitioner faster, better-informed, and more effective, so they can spend less time searching and more time serving.

We are not a vendor selling a product to the field. We are the field, building something for ourselves and sharing it with you.

From the front lines to the platform.

My True Prosperity was founded after more than two decades of firsthand work in financial capability, workforce development, and community economic empowerment. What began as direct service work evolved into network-building, growing a statewide coalition from fewer than 100 partners to more than 4,000, and then into the creation of programs, tools, and frameworks that practitioners across the country could use.

Along the way, we learned something important: the biggest bottleneck in financial capability work is not motivation or expertise, it is time. Practitioners spend hours searching for resources, drafting client materials, navigating funding landscapes, and trying to stay current on policy and best practice. FinCap Assist was built to give those hours back.

We launched the Bright Minds youth workforce development program in 2017, built on a peer-to-peer model that puts young people in the role of educator and leader. We have produced more than 50 practitioner events per year, published the MTP Practitioner Brief newsletter, and developed training and curriculum used by organizations across the country.

FinCap Assist is the next chapter, bringing everything we have learned into an AI-powered platform designed specifically for the people doing this work every day.

FinCap Assist draws its intelligence from the same curated practitioner resource library maintained at NationalFinCap.org, a continuously updated collection of more than 240 tools, research pieces, frameworks, and best practices spanning every dimension of financial capability work.

That library is not scraped from the internet. It is hand-curated by practitioners, for practitioners, vetted for relevance, accuracy, and real-world applicability. When FinCap Assist gives you an answer, it is drawing on that foundation.
